Connect Amazon Seller Central to Claude Code.
To connect Amazon Seller Central to Claude Code, connect your Amazon account in Agent Central, create a scoped API key, export it as AGENT_CENTRAL_API_KEY, and add the hosted MCP server with one claude mcp add command. Claude Code can then read your Seller Central, Amazon Ads, and DSP data from the terminal.
One connection covers sales and traffic, orders, inventory, inbound shipments, catalog, fees, and settlements, plus Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Stores, and DSP. Keep the key read-only for analysis, or include selected write tools so Claude Code can preview bid, budget, listing, and price changes before you approve them.

One command, nothing to host
Claude Code talks to the hosted endpoint over HTTP, so there is no local server, package, or Amazon developer account to set up.
Your key stays out of chat
Claude Code reads the key from your environment when it connects, which keeps it out of chat history and out of shared project config.
Ads, DSP, and Seller Central together
Join ad spend with sales, fees, inventory, and orders in the same session, then save the results to files in your repo.
Data coverage
What Claude Code can read.
Account data syncs ahead of time, so Claude Code gets fast answers from prepared records instead of waiting on Amazon report queues, and selected fields such as Buy Box status, competitive pricing, and live campaign state come straight from Amazon.
Seller Central
Sales and traffic, orders and line items, FBA and AWD inventory, inbound shipments, returns, reimbursements, catalog, listing quality, fees, and settlements.
Sponsored ads
Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targets, search terms, placements, budgets, and TACOS.
Amazon DSP
DSP order, line item, and creative performance with spend, sales, ROAS, viewability, and video completion, plus live DSP advertiser, campaign, ad group, and target records.
Guarded changes
Supported writes such as bids, budgets, campaign states, listings, and prices preview by default, block duplicate submissions, and log the old and new value.
Access model
From Amazon authorization to the first answer.
Agent Central handles Amazon authorization, token refresh, and the data sync. Claude Code only needs the hosted endpoint and a scoped key, and the commands below match the Claude setup guide.
1. Connect Amazon
Sign up at agentcentral.to and authorize Seller Central and Amazon Ads through Amazon in the dashboard. Never paste Amazon passwords or tokens into Claude Code.
2. Create a scoped key
In the Keys tab, create a key with the domains Claude Code should use. Leave write tools off unless the workflow needs them.
3. Export the key and add the server
Export the key as AGENT_CENTRAL_API_KEY in the shell Claude Code uses, then run the claude mcp add command below. Add --scope project to share the config through .mcp.json while each teammate uses their own key.
4. Verify the connection
Type /mcp in a Claude Code session to confirm Agent Central is listed with its tools, then ask one sales question and one advertising question.
Commands
The Claude Code setup commands.
Single quotes around the header keep your shell from expanding the variable, so Claude Code stores the reference instead of your raw key.
Export your key
export AGENT_CENTRAL_API_KEY="ac_live_..."
Add the MCP server
claude mcp add --transport http agentcentral https://mcp.agentcentral.to/mcp \
--header 'Authorization: Bearer ${AGENT_CENTRAL_API_KEY}'Inspect the saved config
claude mcp get agentcentral

FAQ
Common questions.
How do I connect Amazon Seller Central to Claude Code?+
Connect your Amazon account in Agent Central, create a scoped API key in the Keys tab, export it as AGENT_CENTRAL_API_KEY, and run claude mcp add --transport http agentcentral https://mcp.agentcentral.to/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer ${AGENT_CENTRAL_API_KEY}. Type /mcp in Claude Code to confirm the tools are listed.
Can Claude Code read Amazon Ads and DSP data?+
Yes. The same connection covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Stores, and DSP. DSP performance and live DSP records appear when your Amazon Ads login has manager-account access to DSP advertisers.
Do I need my own Amazon SP-API or Amazon Ads API credentials?+
No. Agent Central handles Amazon authorization, token refresh, report syncs, and rate limits. Claude Code only needs the hosted endpoint and your Agent Central key.
Where does my API key live?+
In your shell environment as AGENT_CENTRAL_API_KEY. Claude Code resolves it when it connects, so the raw key stays out of chat history and out of .mcp.json. With --scope project, each collaborator uses their own key without editing the shared config.
Can Claude Code change my Amazon account?+
Only when the key includes write tools. Supported changes, including bids, budgets, campaign states, listings, prices, and seller-managed inventory quantities, preview by default, block duplicate submissions, and record the old and new value. DSP access is read-only.
Should I use Claude Code or the Claude app?+
Use Claude Code when you want analysis next to scripts, files, and repeatable workflows in a repo. Use the Claude app with a Connector URL for conversational work. Both read the same data; the app setup is at https://agentcentral.to/connect-amazon-seller-central-to-claude.
How current is the data?+
Account data syncs on a schedule, and recent Amazon Ads days are pulled again while attribution settles. Selected fields, including Buy Box status, competitive pricing, eligibility, Amazon bid and budget suggestions, and live campaign state, are read from Amazon when you ask.
