Seller Central wasn’t built for agents.
Every screen in Seller Central assumes a human is clicking through it: the report builder, the campaign manager, the inventory dashboard, all of it. That was fine when you were the one managing your business, but it’s a wall when your AI agent tries to.
An agent can’t wait 30 minutes for a report to generate. It can’t solve a CAPTCHA. It can’t click through four tabs to find your ACOS. And when it hits those walls, it doesn’t complain or submit a ticket. It just stops being useful, silently, and you go back to doing everything yourself.
The sellers who give their agents clean, instant access to their data will see the difference in days. Bids adjusted at 3 AM while you sleep. Stockouts flagged two weeks before they happen. $200/day in wasted ad spend caught and killed before it compounds.
That’s what we built. One connection between your Amazon account and your agent. Agent Central gives AI clients structured Amazon seller data through one hosted MCP server for Amazon sellers.
How we compare.
Amazon’s MCP server hits their reporting API every time your agent asks a question, so your agent waits, sometimes for minutes, and sometimes the report never comes back at all.
agentcentral works differently: we sync your Amazon data every day into a dedicated data store, so when your agent queries it reads from your data instead of Amazon’s report queue.
Every read is instant, your data is retained from the day you connect, and your agent never times out waiting for a report.

FAQ
How is this different from Amazon’s MCP server?+
Amazon’s MCP server hits their reporting API in real time, which means async report generation, wait times measured in minutes, and reports that sometimes never come back. agentcentral pre-materializes your data so every query returns in under a second. Writes are different too: we pre-read every value before changing it and log every mutation with before/after values. Amazon’s server fires and forgets.
How fresh is the data?+
Your data syncs every morning at 4 AM UTC, so queries always reflect yesterday’s full performance. Ad metrics continue settling for 48 to 72 hours due to Amazon’s attribution window, which applies regardless of where you pull the data from. Orders sync every 15 minutes.
Is my Amazon data secure?+
Every account’s data is fully isolated in its own dataset. Your credentials are encrypted at rest, and we never store your Amazon password. All data travels over encrypted connections. We only access your data to sync it and serve it back to you, and you can revoke access at any time from your Seller Central settings.
Can agents actually write data back to Amazon?+
Yes. Bid updates, keyword state changes, campaign and keyword archives, budget changes, keyword creation and negation, campaign state changes, audience bid adjustments, listing attribute updates, price updates, inventory quantity updates, MCF order fulfillment, and listing creation. Ads and catalog writes preview by default and require confirm=true plus an idempotency key before submitting. Accepted writes are logged with before and after values where the source data supports them. You can also scope each API key to specific tools, so read-only keys can disable write tools entirely.
What if my agent makes a bad call?+
Accepted write operations are logged with the previous value where the source data supports it, so you can see exactly what changed. Hard limits prevent extreme bid and budget values, Ads and catalog writes preview before submission, and you can scope API keys to disable write tools entirely.
Which AI clients work with this?+
Any client that supports MCP. agentcentral is a hosted MCP server for Amazon sellers, with quickstart guides covering Amazon seller data for Claude and ChatGPT, Claude Code, and OpenClaw. If your client supports MCP server configuration, it works with agentcentral.
Which marketplaces are supported?+
United States at launch. Canada and Mexico will follow after marketplace-specific OAuth and ingestion routing are enabled.
Do I need Amazon API credentials?+
