Connect Amazon Ads to ChatGPT

Connect Amazon Ads to ChatGPT.

To connect Amazon Ads to ChatGPT, authorize Amazon Ads in Agent Central, create a scoped key, and copy its Connector URL. In ChatGPT web, open Apps, then Advanced Settings, turn on Developer Mode, choose Create App, paste the Connector URL, and set authentication to No auth. ChatGPT can then read Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP data.

The connection works on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education plans. Choose a key with only the domains and tools the workflow needs, or connect with OAuth for read-only access through the plain endpoint.

Sponsored ads, DSP, and Stores

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Stores, and DSP sit behind one connection instead of separate exports.

Scoped to the workflow

Each Connector URL carries one key, so ChatGPT sees only the domains and write tools you chose for it.

Facts, not prescriptions

Agent Central returns Amazon’s numbers, including Amazon’s own bid and budget suggestions, and ChatGPT does the reasoning on top.

Data coverage

What ChatGPT can read from Amazon Ads.

Ads reports sync ahead of time and recent days are pulled again while attribution settles, so ChatGPT answers from prepared rows instead of waiting on a new Amazon report for every question.

Campaign performance

Campaigns, ad groups, portfolios, placements, and advertised products with spend, sales, ACOS, ROAS, CTR, and CVR for any date range in your history.

Search terms and keywords

Customer search terms, keywords, and targets with clicks, spend, and attributed sales, so ChatGPT can find terms that spend without converting.

Budgets and Amazon suggestions

Budget pacing across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, plus bid and budget suggestions read live from Amazon Ads.

Amazon DSP

DSP order, line item, and creative performance with spend, sales, ROAS, viewability, and video completion, plus live DSP campaign and ad group records.

Access model

From Amazon Ads authorization to the first answer.

Agent Central handles Amazon Ads authorization, token refresh, and report syncs. ChatGPT only needs the Connector URL, and these steps match the ChatGPT setup guide.

1. Authorize Amazon Ads

Sign up at agentcentral.to and connect Amazon Ads through Amazon in the dashboard. Add Seller Central too if you want TACOS against total sales.

2. Copy a Connector URL

In the Keys tab, create a key with the access ChatGPT should have and choose Copy Connector URL. Treat the URL like a password.

3. Create the app in ChatGPT web

In ChatGPT web settings, open Apps, then Advanced Settings, and turn on Developer Mode. Choose Create App, paste the Connector URL as the app URL, set authentication to No auth, and save.

4. Verify the connection

Start a new chat and ask which Agent Central tools are available. ChatGPT asks for approval the first time it calls each tool.

Example prompts

First prompts for ChatGPT.

FAQ

Common questions.

How do I connect Amazon Ads to ChatGPT?+

Authorize Amazon Ads in Agent Central, create a scoped key, and copy its Connector URL. In ChatGPT web, open Apps, then Advanced Settings, turn on Developer Mode, choose Create App, paste the Connector URL, and set authentication to No auth.

Can ChatGPT read Amazon DSP data?+

Yes. ChatGPT can read DSP order, line item, and creative performance, plus live DSP advertiser, campaign, ad group, and target records, when your Amazon Ads login has manager-account access to DSP advertisers. DSP access is read-only.

Which ChatGPT plans support this?+

MCP apps need a ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education plan. Free accounts do not have access to Apps. Create the app in ChatGPT web, because the desktop app does not offer the same app creation flow.

Should I use the Connector URL or OAuth?+

Use the Connector URL with No auth when ChatGPT should use a specific key, including any write tools you enabled. Use OAuth with https://mcp.agentcentral.to/mcp when read-only access is enough, because keys created through OAuth are read-only.

Can ChatGPT change my bids or budgets?+

Only when the key behind the Connector URL includes write tools. Supported changes preview by default, apply bid limits, block duplicate submissions, and record the old and new value.

Does ChatGPT need Amazon Ads API access of its own?+

No. Agent Central handles Amazon Ads authorization, token refresh, report syncs, and rate limits. ChatGPT only needs the Connector URL.

How much ads history can ChatGPT see?+

Agent Central keeps Amazon Ads history for as long as your account stays connected, so ChatGPT can compare this month with earlier periods as your history builds.
