Amazon Selling Partner plugin outside the US: why wait?

Selling outside the US? Connect Seller Central and Amazon Ads to Claude or ChatGPT with Agent Central. Try it free for 14 days, with no credit card.

Amazon’s Selling Partner plugin is currently in beta for US stores; Amazon has not announced an international rollout date. Sellers on non-US marketplaces can use Agent Central to connect Seller Central and Amazon Ads to Claude or ChatGPT today, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card.

Agent Central connects the AI you already use to your Amazon Seller Central account. It supports 23 Amazon marketplaces, including the UK, Germany, France, Japan and Australia.

If you’ve been waiting for Amazon’s plugin to reach your store, you can use those two weeks to find out which questions your assistant can answer with your own data.

Does Amazon’s Selling Partner plugin work in the UK or EU?

Amazon’s announcement limits the external plugin beta to US stores, with international expansion to follow. That is a restriction on the marketplace, not the seller’s home address: a UK-based business operating a US store is different from a business selling on Amazon.co.uk.

This restriction concerns the external plugin, not Seller Assistant inside Seller Central. Amazon’s plugin currently works in Amazon Quick and, in beta, Claude.

For UK and EU stores, Agent Central already provides a Seller Central connection for Claude. You can also connect Seller Central to ChatGPT.

What can you try during the free trial?

You can ask your assistant questions about your own recent sales, advertising and inventory instead of uploading reports by hand. During the trial, your assistant can read available data from the most recent 30 days. Use recent date ranges rather than expecting years of history during a free trial.

Start with a question you would otherwise answer in a spreadsheet:

Which Sponsored Products search terms spent money but have no reported sales over the last 14 days?

Your assistant can retrieve the search-term results through Agent Central. You can then ask about particular campaigns or products in the same conversation. See the Amazon advertising workflow for more examples.

To put advertising spend beside total sales, ask:

For the last 14 days, show advertising spend as a percentage of each product’s total sales. State which ad types you included and which spend cannot be assigned to a product.

That question needs total sales as well as ad-attributed sales. Making the included ad types explicit prevents a partial figure from looking like a complete one.

For a closer look at product earnings after Amazon fees and ad spend:

Compare my products by what’s left after Amazon fees and ad spend over the last 14 days. Show the source dates and tell me which costs are missing.

A figure that leaves out cost of goods is not final net profit. Amazon reporting delays or unallocated advertising spend should also be visible in the answer.

You can look beyond advertising:

For recent FBA shipments, show units shipped, units received and shipment status. Flag any missing data.

Those quantities give you something to investigate. A shipment still being received should not automatically become a reimbursement claim.

Available data depends on your marketplace and Amazon permissions. Recent ad-attributed sales can still change as Amazon credits conversions.

What did we find when we tested Amazon’s plugin?

In our October 3, 2026 test, Amazon’s plugin said it had no advertising data. It could answer sales questions, but it could not answer our questions about search-term spend without sales or advertising cost as a share of total product sales.

We asked each product the same 12 questions, three times each, through the same Claude account. Agent Central answered 11 in full; Amazon’s plugin answered nine. Both returned matching sales figures down to the cent.

Those results came from one US seller account, not a benchmark of every marketplace. The test was read-only and did not cover Amazon Quick. The full Selling Partner plugin comparison includes the questions, results and limitations.

Amazon’s plugin is a first-party option with Seller Assistant’s own guidance and approved actions. Amazon also has a separate Ads MCP server. Agent Central brings advertising and seller data into one connection, including for sellers whose marketplace is not in the plugin beta.

Try it on your own store

You can start with read-only access, which disables tools that change your account. Connect Seller Central and Amazon Ads, then follow the Claude or ChatGPT setup page linked above.

Allow the initial sync to complete before judging the answers. Check the refresh timestamps and data coverage rather than assuming every report is current. Amazon’s own reporting delays still apply.

Pick a few questions you regularly spend time answering. Compare the results with the reports you already trust.

You do not need an international rollout date to find out whether that helps with your work.
